Rabies eradication

We follow the World Health Organization guidelines which recommend mass vaccination
of dogs as the most effective method of rabies eradication.
All dogs who are sterilized are vaccinated against rabies. In the municipal wards allocated to us we revaccinate street dogs
as well.
We regularly vaccinate a large number of street dogs on site. In all we have protected 37,000 dogs against rabies. From May 2000
to May 2001 the Brihanmumbai (Greater Bombay) Municipal Corporation collaborated with us on this project.
